Entries will be received Friday Evening from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM. Exhibitors must show their current 4-H card in order to enter 4-H Classes. Exhibits will be displayed in the department with similar items and judged by a 4-H judge. Prizes will be awarded at the same rate as other entries in the department. 4-Hers may not enter the same category as a junior.

Arts and Crafts
1. Done as a 4-H Project with directions as to how it is made.
2. A craft made with recycled materials.
3. Homemade child’s toy with direction for use
4. 4-H Club Scrapbook - judged on neatness and information on club projects.

Canned Goods and Animal Products
1. Jar of Vegetables
2. Jar of Jelly
3. Jar of Pickles
4. Collection – 3 different.
5. Misc. canned but not processed items for example, herb mixture or granola
6. Honey
7. Eggs

Clothing and Fancy Work
Bring hangers.
1. Any sewn clothing item
2. Crochet article
3. Knitted article
4. Cross-stitched or embroidered item
5. Pillow or placemat or other home decorator item
6. Miscellaneous

Floral Design
Design a mass arrangement that reflects the 4-H theme.

4-H Club Booth Exhibits
Prizes 1st $5.00, 2nd $2.00, 3rd $1.00
4H Club Booth exhibits should conform to the requirements of the Haddam Neck Fair Booth Contest and may be entered in both classes concurrently. The exhibit should teach factual information or show a process.
